The “Casa Verde” in Vila Nova de Cerveira

The “Casa Verde”, formerly of the Marreca Gonçalves Family, is an imposing palatial building, with a facade facing Rua Queiróz Ribeiro, in plain center of Vila Nova de Cerveira. It is a private residence.

The house unfolds on the ground floor, first floor and attic. The exterior façade is covered with greenish-tiled tiles and the cut plateau, crowned with craters, in granite, with a Roman warrior, in white faience, occupying the central part, shows well the aesthetic quality of some architecture that was made from the end from the 19th century to the first decades of the 20th century.
