Bacalhau à Brás…
Just wanted to share with you a very delicious and typical Portuguese dish so easy to prepare… Don’t forget to partner with one of “Bacchus” delicious nectar of your preference… Please do let me know what thought of it… DESFRUTA!!!
Cod 400 g
6 tablespoons of olive oil
500g straw fries
1 Garlic clove
Parsley To taste
Black pepper q.s.
Olives to taste
The cod is soaked as usual, the skin and bones are removed and shredded with your hands. Cut the onions into very thin slices. Mince up the garlic. Place the oil, onion and garlic in a thick-bottomed pan and let it cook slowly until the onion is cooked. At this point, add the shredded cod and stir with a spoon so that it is well impregnated with the oil.
Add the thin straw potatoes to the cod and, with the pan over the heat, pour in the eggs, slightly beaten and seasoned with salt and pepper.
Stir with the fork and, as soon as the eggs are creamed but cooked, immediately remove the pan from the heat and place the cod on a platter.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley, serve it hot with olives and soak it with olive oil!!!
