Quinta do Vale Meão...
Quinta do Vale Meão was a project started by Dona Antónia Ferreira and eventually passed into the hands of her descendants. Today the name Quinta de Vale Meão is synonymous with one of the best wines in Portugal and continues to surprise national and foreign critics for its quality.
In possession of his great-great-grandson Francisco Javier de Olazabal, today it integrates 62 hectares of vineyards planted in lands of different geological origins: schist, granitic and alluvial.
This 2015 is "very concentrated in color. Nose of great depth, complex, with many aromatic nuances, without any aroma overlapping another. In the tasting it is vibrant, in a set of great elegance, excellent integration of wood, surprising for the great variety of grape varieties, with a very long finish."
For many considered to be among the best 1% of all wines in the world... I am within those 1%!!!
